Who We Are
Northbridge Housing CIC is a Community Interest Company dedicated to providing safe, secure and comfortable supported accommodation to refugees and newly arrived communities in Birmingham. Since beginning operations in 2018, we have been committed to breaking down barriers and helping vulnerable individuals successfully resettle and thrive in their new communities.
As a non-profit organisation with a strong social agenda, we provide more than just housing — we deliver wraparound support services that empower our residents to move toward independent living and meaningful employment. Our unique approach combines temporary supported accommodation with comprehensive training, counselling, and employment assistance.

To grow as the lead accommodation-based support provider for vulnerable adults and low-income families in the communities in which we operate. Standing up as the voice for the sector and the community to ensure policy and practice supports their growth.
We provide our residents with comprehensive support that enables them to move on to independent living and employment. Our culturally sensitive approach and experienced team ensure that newly arrived individuals receive the understanding and assistance they need during this critical transition period.

What is Northbridge Housing CIC and what do you do?
Northbridge Housing CIC is a Community Interest Company that provides supported accommodation and wraparound services to refugees and newly arrived communities in Birmingham. We offer safe housing combined with comprehensive support including English language classes, employment assistance, life skills training, and help transitioning to independent living.
How long has Northbridge Housing been operating?
We began operations in 2018 and have since supported over 500 individuals toward independence. Our experienced leadership team brings decades of expertise in refugee resettlement and social housing, with many staff members having lived experience as former refugees themselves.
